Description: Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join the Center for Christian Ministries team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and leading strategic litigation matters to advance and defend the First Amendment rights of churches, Christian ministries, and religious schools. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, interviewing clients, preparing discovery, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court and before administrative agencies.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a J.D. and an active license in at least one U.S. state bar (with the ability to meet admission requirements in the relevant jurisdiction within one year). A minimum of 2 years of complex litigation experience is required. Trial experience is preferred.
