Phoenix Tailings, a rapidly growing clean mining and metals production startup, is seeking a Legal Counsel for Commercial Contracts to own and drive the legal backbone of their commercial operations. This role is critical in structuring, negotiating, and executing the agreements that enable the company to build, scale, and deploy clean metals production globally. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including supply, offtake, services, and vendor contracts.
- Structure and negotiate strategic partnership agreements supporting technology deployment.
- Develop and standardize contract templates and playbooks to streamline commercial execution.
- Support sales and business development teams in structuring deals and resolving contractual issues.
- Identify and resolve legal and commercial risks in customer and supplier agreements.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 total cash compensation plus equity.
