Located in the dynamic business hub of Dubai, UAE, this full-time role offers an exceptional opportunity for mid-level legal professionals to gain regional exposure with global reach across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will handle a broad and diverse remit covering commercial contracts, intellectual property, and compliance projects. Primary duties include:
- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, and marketing contracts.
- Marketing & Brand Advisory: Providing strategic legal counsel to global marketing teams, with a specific focus on licensing agreements and brand partnerships.
- IP Portfolio Management: Managing and protecting the company's global trademark portfolio, including handling registrations and enforcement actions.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Supporting compliance programs and advising on risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Dispute Resolution: Leading or supporting dispute resolution and litigation matters across the EMEA region.
- Strategic Projects: Contributing to high-value strategic initiatives, including new market entries and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity.
- Process Improvement: Enhancing legal templates, streamlining internal processes, and delivering legal training to internal business stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following professional requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) gained either in-house or within a reputable private practice.
- Expertise: Strong commercial legal background, with proven exposure to intellectual property and trademark management.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence, partner with, and advise senior stakeholders.
- Skills: Outstanding drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural, and international business environment.
Compensation & Benefits

- Salary Range: AED 432,000.00 to AED 528,000.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).
