This role serves as a trusted advisor to company leadership, supporting a global and expanding semiconductor business. The Counsel will handle a broad range of international matters, including complex commercial contracts, online commerce, intellectual property, software licensing, supply chain, and cybersecurity. The position focuses on modernizing legal operations through the implementation of modular contract architecture, standardization, and the use of automation and AI. The successful candidate will be expected to provide data-driven legal advice, manage an independent portfolio of matters, and collaborate with an international team of lawyers and business managers to drive meaningful business outcomes. Eligibility: * Must be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the State of Texas. * Minimum of five years of experience practicing transactional (preferred) or litigation-related law at a top law firm or corporate law department. * Experience with technology licensing, tech transfer, or IP-intensive transactions is highly preferred. * Prior experience representing or interacting with technology, automotive, or manufacturing companies is an advantage. * Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.
