Robert Half, a premier global recruitment consultancy, is currently hiring a Legal Counsel (Commercial) on behalf of an established technology consulting firm based in London, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time, mid-to-senior level in-house position offering an attractive compensation package and the opportunity to work at the intersection of law and cutting-edge technology consulting.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will handle a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate legal matters. Key duties include:
- Contract Management: Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements and business contracts to protect the company's interests.
- Risk Mitigation: Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating legal and regulatory risks associated with business operations and customer engagements.
- Compliance & Advisory: Conducting legal research, performing due diligence, and advising senior management on statutory, contractual, and regulatory obligations.
- Team Coordination: Supervising, coordinating, and directing projects or legal staff as assigned, and managing external legal resources when necessary.
- Reporting: Providing regular written and verbal reports to the Senior Corporate Counsel and the Head of Legal regarding ongoing responsibilities and legal risks.
Eligibility & Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Qualification: Must be a qualified solicitor (admitted to practice in England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction).
- Industry Experience: Proven experience working within the technology sector (in-house or top-tier private practice with tech clients).
- Skills: Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business advice.
Compensation & Location
- Salary Range: £100,000.00 to £120,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience).
- Location: London, United Kingdom (Permanent, Full-time).
