The successful candidate will provide transactional, regulatory, and legal support for underwriting activities in surety, trade finance, and infrastructure finance. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating bond forms, indemnity agreements, and co-surety agreements, as well as advising on licensing and regulatory compliance within the US and Canada.
Eligibility: Applicants must be admitted to the bar of at least one US state (preferably Illinois, Kansas, or Missouri). A minimum of six years of legal experience in a large law firm or financial services organization is required. Specific experience with credit insurance, surety bonds, or banking/finance is highly preferred.
