Description: Accord Healthcare is hiring a Legal Counsel & Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the EMENA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for data privacy and compliance systems, providing support on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements (license, supply, and service agreements), managing disputes, and serving as the primary point of contact for privacy matters. As the DPO, the individual will lead the Processing Activities Register, oversee data breach management, and conduct organizational training on privacy requirements.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Degree in Law and have proven years of experience as a lawyer. Substantial experience in GDPR matters and prior DPO experience are essential. Proficiency in English is required. Desirable qualifications include experience in the pharmaceutical industry, exposure to multi-national environments, and post-graduate studies in commercial, competition, or life-sciences law.
