Description: This is a newly created growth role for an In-House Commercial/Tech Lawyer to join a technology-driven organization responsible for planning Great Britain's power usage. The successful candidate will act as the number two within the Commercial sub-team, focusing on SaaS, IT agreements, and a range of broader commercial contracts including Procurement, Digital, Data, and Innovation. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating supplier contracts, advising stakeholders on risk, and shaping the commercial side of the legal function.
Eligibility: The role is suitable for an agile, commercially minded, and technically strong contracts lawyer with IT/SaaS experience. The client is open to candidates with 2-3 years PQE (with strong tech experience) or more senior lawyers comfortable working independently in this space.
