Global financial super-app Revolut is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel (Employment) to join its dynamic legal team in Greater Dublin. This role offers an exciting opportunity for employment law specialists to partner with human resources, employee relations, and local management to navigate complex employment issues in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Counsel specializing in employment law, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic legal advice and counsel to local management, Employee Relations (ER), and Human Resources (HR) on a wide array of employment issues, including grievances, dismissals, and employment contracts.
  • Managing cross-border projects across the EMEA region or globally, collaborating with external counsel, and directly delivering employment law advice.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with local legislation, such as working time regulations.
  • Advising on global mobility, contingent worker matters, and coordinating compensation, benefits, bonuses, and equity awards.
  • Handling regulatory issues concerning conduct, remuneration matters, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Managing employment litigation, negotiated exits, and settlements.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a qualified employment lawyer in a top-tier UK law firm and/or an in-house legal department of a multinational organization.
  • Legal Knowledge: Solid, demonstrable knowledge of UK employment laws.
  • Skills: Fluency in English, excellent legal research capabilities, and the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
  • Mindset: Analytical and pragmatic thinker capable of providing innovative, proactive advice, with a passion for technology.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): A background in banking or other regulatory fields, prior in-house experience, and experience handling cross-border employment law issues in EMEA and APAC regions.
