Diversifying.io is recruiting a Legal Counsel (Employment) on behalf of IMG, a global leader in sports, fashion, events, and media, and a subsidiary of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. This permanent, full-time role is based in London (Chiswick Park) and offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to manage a diverse portfolio across the EMEA and APAC regions.

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the VP, Counsel – Employment (EMEA and APAC), the successful candidate will serve as a trusted legal partner to HR and business leaders. The role involves delivering commercially focused, solution-oriented advice on a wide range of employment matters, including:

  • Strategic Advisory: Partnering with HR and senior stakeholders to advise on recruitment, compensation, performance management, terminations, and contingent workers.
  • Employee Relations & Dispute Management: Overseeing internal investigations, managing pre-litigation strategy, and handling employment-related litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Contracts & Policies: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment clauses in commercial agreements, bespoke employment contracts, and implementing compliant HR policies.
  • Projects & M&A: Supporting reorganisations, business restructures, and M&A integrations, including employee transfers (TUPE/cross-border) and works council engagements.
  • Compliance: Monitoring legislative changes across EMEA and APAC and delivering training to internal teams.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' PQE as a qualified solicitor under English law.
  • A strong track record in employment law within a commercial setting (reputable law firm or in-house multinational team).
  • Substantive experience in UK employment law, combined with significant exposure to multi-jurisdictional EMEA employment matters.
  • Proven capability in handling both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience advising on APAC employment law.
  • Familiarity with EU works council processes and obligations.
  • Prior experience in the live events, media, entertainment, or sports sectors.
  • AI literacy and comfort using AI-powered legal tools.
