Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Employment Law Service on matters relevant to internal workforce and recruitment activities.
- Advise senior Group stakeholders (Executive and Directors) and act as a trusted advisor to the People Team.
- Support the development and refinement of templates, policies, contractual documents, and guidance materials.
- Identify and escalate legal risks in line with Group frameworks.
- Proactively scan for employment law updates and guide the business in response to regulatory and legislative changes.
- Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with up to approximately 5 years' PQE in employment law.
- Strong grounding in advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law.
- Commercially aware with good judgment and a practical approach to risk.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with non-legal stakeholders.
