Job Opportunity: Legal Counsel - Energy & Infrastructure
A growing infrastructure and energy business is seeking an Associate Counsel between 4-7 years of legal experience to join its U.S. legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded attorney who wants to play a key role in supporting major energy, utility, renewable, and infrastructure projects across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex EPC contracts
- Supporting large-scale infrastructure, utility, and renewable energy projects
- Negotiating equipment supply agreements, subcontractor agreements, and commercial contracts
- Advising on project development opportunities and associated legal risks
- Supporting M&A transactions and strategic corporate initiatives
- Managing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, MOUs, and other business-critical documentation
- Providing practical legal advice to business development, operations, and executive leadership teams
- Supporting corporate governance and compliance activities across multiple U.S. entities
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of transactional legal experience
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy, energy, project finance, or related sectors
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial and pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to a U.S. State Bar
