The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team that oversees commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and third-party supplier agreements. The position involves managing complex global transactions, advising on technology and data protection laws, and overseeing outsourcing negotiations. Key responsibilities include devising legal strategies, managing internal client relationships, and monitoring regulatory developments in the EU and UK to ensure compliance. This role offers exposure to diverse legal matters within a high-performing financial institution. Eligibility: * Qualified and in good standing to practise law in the UK. * Proven experience as a commercial lawyer with the ability to lead transactions and deals. * Strong negotiation and drafting capabilities for commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Work Orders, and NDAs. * In-depth understanding of EU and UK legal and regulatory obligations, specifically in technology law, data protection, and operational resilience. * Previous experience in financial services, in-house legal departments, or commercial law firms is highly advantageous. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex cross-border projects.
