This influential in-house position serves as a central point for the organization, providing practical legal guidance to navigate complex regulatory and commercial landscapes. The role is designed for a commercially minded lawyer who wishes to deliver advice that directly shapes business outcomes and supports key strategic projects. The successful candidate will lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, franchise, and technology arrangements. Key responsibilities also include supporting M&A activity through due diligence, overseeing contract integration, and managing governance and compliance frameworks. Additionally, the counsel will work alongside external Data Protection Officers to handle privacy queries and maintain regulatory compliance. Eligibility: * Must be a qualified solicitor. * Solid post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law, ideally gained in-house or in a practice with a strong transactional focus. * Proven track record of independently handling commercial contracts from instruction through to execution. * Previous exposure to corporate transactions or M&A work is considered a distinct advantage. * Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and legal risk management within a commercial context.
