L'Oréal is seeking a highly autonomous Legal Counsel to join its M&A (Acquisitions & Licensing) team within L’Oréal Global Finance & Legal in France. The role involves managing the legal and contractual aspects of external growth transactions, drafting complex agreements, and ensuring legal security across various operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage legal and contractual aspects of transactions (acquisitions, licensing, minority stakes, divestments) with high autonomy.
• Draft and negotiate complex legal documents, including NDAs, letters of intent, and acquisition or licensing contracts.
• Supervise the creation or restructuring of Group entities (subsidiaries, joint ventures) in collaboration with Finance and Corporate Law teams.
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation related to M&A transactions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in M&A business law, including significant international experience and at least 5 years in a law firm.
• Solid mastery of business law and familiarity with securities, labor, real estate, IP/IT, and Data Privacy.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
