AccountStaff is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, and business-oriented Legal Director / Legal Counsel (job grade to be determined based on experience) to serve as the cornerstone of the company’s legal function in Singapore. The role involves providing comprehensive legal, contractual, and compliance support across business operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering & Commercial Support: Partner with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to provide proactive legal guidance and risk mitigation. Support credit risk management and debt recovery efforts.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supplier, customer, logistics, NDAs, and service agreements. Maintain legal templates and contract playbooks.
- Compliance & Governance: Design and maintain a scalable compliance framework, establish internal governance policies, and conduct compliance training. Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations.
