The company is seeking a Legal Counsel for Real Estate Financing & Joint Ventures to play a pivotal role in supporting large-scale real estate developments and project financings. Reporting directly to the General Counsel of Real Estate, the successful candidate will lead the legal strategy for data center development projects, navigating everything from synthetic leases to joint venture operations. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of real estate transactions, including site selection, purchase and sale agreements, and ground leases. Additionally, the Counsel will support financing and debt raises, conduct legal due diligence for construction loans, and draft specialized data center service agreements. This position is based in San Francisco, CA, and requires an in-office presence five days per week. The offered compensation range is $218,000 – $273,000 plus bonus and equity packages. Eligibility: * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Active bar admission in any US state. * 5–7 years of legal experience specifically focused on real estate acquisitions, project finance, or power procurement. * Strong financial literacy regarding construction financing and loan due diligence processes. * Excellent negotiation and drafting skills with the ability to manage high-stakes business environments. * Experience with data centers or large-scale industrial development projects is strongly preferred.
