Legal Counsel (Regulatory & Licensing)

Job Description

This is a high-impact legal role focused on navigating complex global regulatory environments within the fintech and digital assets space. The successful candidate will play a critical part in securing and expanding international licensing coverage by leading strategic regulatory applications across multiple jurisdictions.

Accountabilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end regulatory licensing applications across jurisdictions, including VASP, MiCA, MSB, and other financial service authorizations
• Monitor global regulatory developments in fintech and crypto markets and provide clear, actionable briefings to executive leadership
• Analyze evolving legal frameworks from regulators such as the SEC, CFTC, FCA, MAS, and others to assess business impact
• Collaborate closely with Compliance and AML teams to translate regulatory requirements into operational policies and audit-ready processes

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with active legal credentials
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial regulation, fintech law, or related legal advisory roles
• Strong expertise in crypto regulation, digital assets frameworks, payment services laws, or traditional financial regulatory systems
