The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the company’s U.S. trade and customs legal capabilities. Primary duties include advising on customs valuation, tariff classification, and import-related issues. The role involves supporting internal logistics and customs teams on compliance policies, audits, and regulatory inquiries. Additionally, the Legal Counsel will draft and review trade-related agreements and filings while managing relationships with outside counsel. The position requires monitoring regulatory developments to assess business impacts and ensuring the development of robust customs-related compliance systems. Eligibility: * Juris Doctor (JD) degree. * Active membership in at least one state bar or equivalent. * 3+ years of legal experience in international trade, with a specific focus on customs and import issues. * Experience with customs/import issues within the e-commerce industry (Preferred). * Strong communication skills and experience partnering with logistics teams (Preferred).
