Salary Range: $121,800 - $152,200 per year
Description: Outokumpu is seeking a remote Legal Counsel for the US & Canada to join the Business Area Americas legal team. This role provides strategic and practical legal support, managing day-to-day legal matters for operations based in Calvert, Alabama, and advising various business functions on legal risks and compliance. The role also oversees legal operations, including workflow optimization within the LawVu contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, and directly manages a Contracts Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial, procurement, and buy-side agreements.
• Provide risk-based legal guidance to internal stakeholders across sales, operations, HR, and finance.
• Utilize and optimize the LawVu CLM system for legal intake and workflow tracking.
• Manage and mentor the Contracts Specialist.
