Based in Belfast, the successful candidate will act as a core legal partner to the Retail Banking division, specifically supporting strategic growth areas in consumer credit and unsecured lending. The role offers significant visibility and autonomy within a large financial services organization during a period of momentum and investment. The position is centered on navigating the regulatory frameworks that shape lending products. Given the ongoing reform of the Consumer Credit Act, the role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the future governance of consumer lending. The successful candidate will join a collaborative legal team and will be responsible for building strong relationships with business stakeholders while maintaining a proactive approach to market developments.
