The initiative focuses on the socio-legal and economic rehabilitation of disadvantaged groups within the Criminal Justice System, specifically targeting individuals at risk of criminalization, those exploited for commercial sex, and persons in destitute states. The selected Legal Fellow will assist in the project’s mission by providing legal support and facilitating rehabilitation processes. The role involves working effectively within a team, conducting field visits, and managing legal documentation. The position offers a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000, which includes a fieldwork allowance. Eligibility: * Must hold a valid LLB degree. * Possession of a Sanad for practicing law in Maharashtra. * Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Marathi, English, and Hindi. * Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office, email, and the internet. * Age must be below 35 years as of March 31, 2026. * Preference may be given to candidates with 2-3 years of legal practice experience. * Candidates must be willing to travel across Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and other districts as required.
