The General Counsel will act as a trusted advisor and commercial partner to the CEO, Executive Committee (EXCO), and the Board of Directors. The primary objective is to integrate legal, regulatory, and governance insights into the enterprise strategy to safeguard business value and accelerate sustainable growth within the complex healthcare market. The position carries significant responsibility for managing enterprise risk, overseeing board governance, and providing leadership in commercial and transactional matters. Key highlights of the role include managing medico-legal regulatory risks, overseeing high-value litigation, and ensuring operational excellence within the legal department while strengthening the organization's competitive positioning. Eligibility: * Must be qualified and admitted as an attorney or lawyer in good standing in a recognized jurisdiction. * Active professional admission and membership in a relevant legal jurisdiction is essential. * 12–15 years of post-qualification legal experience. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership or executive legal role. * Proven experience in healthcare regulatory environments and medico-legal risk management within complex corporate structures. * Demonstrated experience overseeing high-value litigation, regulatory investigations, and commercial transactions. * Experience advising executive leadership and boards on governance and enterprise risk. * Preference will be given to designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
