As a leading life insurance provider in India, the organization seeks to hire highly capable legal professionals to manage its litigation portfolio and provide strategic legal guidance. The role is centered on protecting the company's interests while maintaining its legacy of trust and integrity. The appointed managers will be responsible for the end-to-end management of consumer litigation cases across various district, state, and national commissions. Key responsibilities include drafting and vetting written statements, evidence, and pleadings, as well as managing Insurance Ombudsman cases. The role also extends to advisory services for internal stakeholders, handling due diligence for property matters, and vetting leave and license agreements. Furthermore, the position requires active coordination with external advocates and the maintenance of comprehensive litigation trackers. Candidates will be expected to analyze court orders and recommend further legal actions, such as appeals or settlements, while ensuring all processes align with the Consumer Protection Act, Insurance laws, and organizational requirements. Eligibility: * LLB degree from a recognized and reputed law college. * Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). * Professional experience in the Life Insurance industry is preferred. * In-depth knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act (2019), CPC, Criminal laws, Evidence law, and Insurance regulations. * Strong drafting, legal research, and analytical skills.
