Description: The Meghalaya Institute of Governance (MIG) is inviting applications for the 3rd Cohort of the Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF) 2026. This flagship initiative aims to strengthen legislative functioning by providing structured research and data support to Members of the Meghalaya State Legislative Assembly, enabling evidence-based policymaking and improved governance outcomes.Roles Available:

• Research Fellow: Conducts policy research, prepares briefs, and supports MLAs in legislative business. Requires a Postgraduate/PhD in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Humanities, Natural Sciences, or related fields.
• Data Fellow: Conducts data-driven analysis, develops dashboards, and generates quantitative research outputs. Requires a Postgraduate/PhD in Statistics, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Geoinformation, Natural Sciences, or related disciplines.

Eligibility: Postgraduate or PhD in relevant disciplines (Social Sciences, Public Policy, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Data Analytics, Geoinformation, or related fields) with strong analytical and communication skills.
Stipend: ₹50,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) + applicable mobile allowance.
