Title: Ministry of Women and Child Development Internship 2026 for Women Students & Teachers Category: Internships and Small Projects Organiser: Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India Description: The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) is inviting applications for its two-month Internship Programme for the year 2026. This initiative is specifically designed for women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers residing in non-tier I cities and rural areas of India. The program aims to provide qualitative exposure to the Ministry's mandate, specific programs, and policy analysis, encouraging participants to proactively address issues concerning women and children. Interns will be oriented with the Ministry's various policies and programs and may be required to undertake pilot projects or micro-studies focusing on ongoing activities. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000 and reimbursement for travel costs. Additionally, the Ministry provides shared hostel facilities in Delhi, including basic amenities such as a table, chair, and cupboard for the duration of the internship. Eligibility: * Must be a woman student, scholar, social activist, or teacher. * Must be a resident of a non-tier I city or a rural part of India. * Must be currently enrolled in or associated with a university, academic institution, or non-academic institution. * Candidates previously selected for this Internship Programme are not eligible to apply again.
