This competition invites participants to engage with contemporary public policy issues by analyzing complex challenges and presenting structured, innovative, and implementable solutions. The initiative serves as a platform for developing practical policy-thinking skills through rigorous research, critical analysis, and strategic presentation. The competition is divided into two phases. Initially, participants must submit a comprehensive policy brief (1,500–2,000 words) that includes a problem statement, implementation procedure, and a cost-benefit analysis. Submissions are evaluated based on their relevance to public policy, innovation, practicality, and research rigor. Following the preliminary round, the top five teams will be notified to prepare a "Policy Deck" (PowerPoint presentation) based on their briefs. These finalists will present their proposals to an esteemed panel from the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy during the final event days.
