Description: ZentLaw is seeking an experienced Product Counsel to join their Flexible Talent team in a fully embedded, remote role working directly with one of their technology clients. This role focuses on product legal and privacy compliance, managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and marketing).
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operationalize the product counseling workflow and end-to-end product launch lifecycle.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and execute privacy-by-design implementation.
• Review AI and machine learning initiatives for privacy, data use risk, and model training practices.
• Negotiate and maintain product-related commercial agreements, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

Preferred Qualifications: Prior in-house experience at a tech company (SaaS), experience at a top-tier law firm, and CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPM certifications.
