Description: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is inviting applications for 21 vacancies for the post of Public Prosecutor. These positions are available at the NCB Headquarters as well as various Regional and Zonal offices. The recruitment is being conducted on a deputation basis, which includes short-term contracts (STC). The selected candidates will be placed in Level-10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized University and have at least 07 years of experience as an Advocate in conducting criminal cases. Candidates must also be holding analogous posts on a regular basis in their parent cadre/department or have completed 2 to 4 years of regular service in Level-9 or Level-8 respectively. Three years of experience in handling NDPS cases is desirable.
