This mid-senior level role is responsible for managing all legal matters in Singapore, Thailand, India, Indonesia, China, and Vietnam. The position involves providing strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and mitigating legal risks for the company’s regional agricultural operations. The successful candidate will handle a diverse portfolio, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on labor and employment law, and managing litigation or regulatory proceedings. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with global leadership to align legal strategies with business goals and manage external counsel to optimize legal expenditures. This position involves significant travel to various regional operating locations. Eligibility: * Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent). * Must be a practicing lawyer. * 5-10 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years of experience as in-house counsel (preferably within a multinational corporation). * Expertise in corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory law specifically in China, Singapore, Thailand, or Indonesia. * Proven experience in managing cross-border legal issues and corporate transactions. * Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
