The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the local regulatory engagement strategy, managing communications, and providing strategic advice to leadership to ensure compliance remains aligned with business innovation. The manager will oversee the end-to-end management of regulatory inspections and audits while partnering with Product and Legal teams to launch new features within the UAE's regulatory framework. Key duties include anticipating regulatory changes, translating them into actionable strategies, and ensuring all regulatory commitments are tracked to completion. This role serves as a champion for conduct and compliance, requiring the development of scalable processes and high-quality management reporting. Eligibility: * 7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or risk management within a top-tier financial institution, fintech, or regulatory body. * An existing professional network within the regulatory environment in the UAE. * Deep familiarity with key regulatory compliance regimes and best practices in regional financial institution regulations. * Strong understanding of payment systems and markets, particularly those focused on technology and mobile applications. * Proven expertise in stakeholder management, project management, and negotiation. * Academic background in law, public policy, business administration, or finance (Advanced qualifications such as LLB/LLM, CA, CS, or CFA are preferred).
