Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be integrated into a highly skilled in-house legal team. Key duties include:
- Providing specialist, strategic legal advice on complex cross-border regulatory matters.
- Advising on U.S. securities regulations and managing associated regulatory filings.
- Collaborating closely with senior management, investment professionals, compliance, and risk management teams to mitigate legal risks.
- Navigating complex international regulatory frameworks to support the institution's global investment strategies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing technical legal documents with high precision.
Eligibility & Requirements
To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Experience: 4 to 8 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) gained within a top-tier international law firm or a major global financial institution.
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience advising on U.S. securities regulation and regulatory filings.
- Industry Exposure: Prior experience working with or advising institutional asset managers, sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), alternative investment platforms, or investment funds.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal business units.
- Technical Skills: Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
