Larson Maddox, a leading legal recruitment firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Labor & Employment Attorney on behalf of its client. This is a fully remote, full-time position within the United States, offering the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will advise clients on a wide range of workplace and human capital matters. Core duties include:
- Advising clients on employment law issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, accommodations, and workplace policies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and revising employment agreements, employee handbooks, and corporate policies.
- Handling administrative charges and agency matters (e.g., EEOC, DOL, and state/local agencies), including preparing position statements and strategic responses.
- Counseling on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (such as wage and hour, discrimination, and leave laws).
- Supporting or managing employment-related disputes, including pre-litigation strategy and coordination with litigation teams.
- Conducting or advising on internal investigations involving employee complaints and workplace misconduct.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following professional criteria to be considered:
- Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience practicing labor and employment law.
- Skills: Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Preferred: Prior experience handling administrative charge processes and direct agency interactions.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a highly competitive compensation package and a supportive work culture:
- Base Salary: $122,000.00 to $220,000.00 per year (final pay based on skills and experience).
