Job Title: Senior Counsel
Mainspring Energy is seeking a versatile, business-minded attorney to join their Legal team as a Senior Counsel. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree, be admitted to practice in the U.S, and have a minimum of 8 years of transactional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thoughtful, risk-balanced, and business-minded advice to internal stakeholders on complex contracts.
- Work closely with stakeholders to architect and refine contract forms, templates, and playbooks.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Project Delivery, Operations, and other teams to drive execution of high-stakes commercial agreements.
- Lead end-to-end contract negotiations for various commercial agreements.
Qualifications:
- JD degree and admitted to practice in the U.S.
- Minimum 8 years of transactional experience (ideally a combination of global law firm and/or in-house legal department experience).
- Technical proficiency: Experience with contract management systems and a desire to optimize legal tech stacks and workflows.
- Executive presence: Experience serving as a trusted business partner to senior leaders.
What Mainspring Energy Offers:
- Base pay range: $212,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr.
