This strategic role involves acting as a primary legal advisor to the Commercial and Medical Affairs teams, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer. The position is integral to the company’s commercialization readiness and the upcoming launch of its product candidates. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for providing legal guidance on pre-launch and launch activities, including promotional strategies, market access, and distribution models. Key duties include leading the legal review of promotional materials (MLR/PRC processes), drafting complex commercial agreements, and designing a scalable healthcare compliance program. The role also requires proactive risk management and monitoring of evolving healthcare laws and industry trends. Eligibility: * J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. * 8–12+ years of legal experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry (in-house experience preferred). * Proven experience supporting commercial builds and product launches. * Deep knowledge of healthcare and compliance regulations, including FDA, OIG, PhRMA Code, Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act. * Strong background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing MLR/PRC reviews.
