Celonis is hiring a Senior Counsel for the U.S. Public Sector to serve as the primary legal architect for its government go-to-market (GTM) strategy. The role involves acting as a strategic business partner to GTM, Information Security, Engineering, Product, and Compliance teams to drive the expansion of Celonis' public sector business. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading high-stakes negotiations for complex software licenses, SaaS agreements, teaming arrangements, and partner/reseller contracts for federal and SLED (State, Local, and Education) customers.
  • Interpreting and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, agency-specific supplements, and evolving data protection/privacy regulations (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-171).
  • Developing contract templates, internal policies, and training programs to streamline sales cycles.
  • Managing external legal advisors and proactively mitigating legal, financial, and regulatory risks.

Salary & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role in Washington, D.C. is $194,000—$230,000 USD. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus/commission, equity (RSUs), comprehensive health benefits, 401(k), and generous parental leave.Application Link:
