The Ministry of Law, Singapore is hiring a Senior Executive for its Individual Insolvency and Debt Repayment Scheme Division under the Insolvency & Public Trustee's Office (IPTO). This is an 11-month non-renewable contract role. The executive will be responsible for case administration under the Debt Repayment Scheme and will actively engage with debtors, creditors, internal stakeholders, law firms, and other government agencies. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess debtor applications to be placed under the Debt Repayment Scheme.
- Examine submitted documents and verify the extent of debtors' assets and liabilities.
- Schedule and conduct meetings of creditors to determine repayment plans.
- Monitor debtors' repayment plans and process payments to creditors.
- Liaise with debtors and creditors on general enquiries and review cases for cessation.
- Familiarity with Public Service-level Acts and Regulations (e.g., Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act, Companies Act, Penal Code).
- Strong skills in investigation, evidence gathering, case processing, and interviewing.
- Meticulous, energetic team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
