Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all legal documentation, fund/Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) structures, and investment contracts strictly comply with UAE and international regulatory standards.
• Risk Assessment: Working collaboratively with internal compliance, risk management, and finance teams to identify, assess, and mitigate potential legal exposures.
• Regulatory Liaison: Leading and managing interactions with regional and international financial regulators.
• Governance Frameworks: Developing and implementing comprehensive legal frameworks to enhance corporate governance and ensure ongoing legal compliance.
• Dispute Resolution: Supporting and advising on dispute resolution and litigation matters related to investments and corporate governance.
• Specialized Advisory: Providing legal counsel on Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM), Fund Management, Technology, and International Risk and Compliance.

Eligibility & Candidate Profile

To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Experience Level: Mid-Senior level professional with extensive experience in banking, finance, or corporate law.
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in handling investment contracts, fund management, and DPM structures.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with UAE financial regulations as well as international compliance standards.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams (risk, finance, compliance).
