Title: Senior Legal Counsel at Vena Solutions Category: Jobs Organiser: Vena Solutions Description: Vena Solutions is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal department and support the organization’s expansion as a high-growth SaaS provider. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, the successful candidate will provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice across a variety of areas, including corporate/commercial, privacy, regulatory, and employment law. This is a flexible role with options for full-time office work, hybrid arrangements, or entirely remote work within Canada. The role involves acting as a strategic business partner to internal teams such as Sales, Product, and Finance. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex SaaS subscription agreements, managing corporate governance, and overseeing internal compliance workflows. Additionally, the counsel will contribute to the optimization of legal operations through the use of contract automation and emerging legal technology tools. The offered salary range for this position is $166,840 – $225,724 CAD. Eligibility: * Qualified lawyer licensed to practice law in Ontario (or another Canadian jurisdiction with eligibility to transfer). * Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree. * 7–10 years of post-call experience with a strong foundation in technology and commercial law. * Demonstrated experience negotiating technology and SaaS agreements. * Member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario. * Prior in-house experience at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
