Haier Europe is seeking a proactive and self-driven Senior Legal Counsel to join its regional team in Vimercate. Reporting directly to the Regional General Counsel, the successful candidate will oversee legal strategies, compliance, procurement, IoT, and digital initiatives. The role involves working closely with C-level executives, the Global General Counsel, and HQ legal teams to manage regional and global legal affairs. Key Responsibilities:
- Define legal strategy on high-risk, high-value matters and coordinate external counsel across EMEA.
- Lead regional compliance initiatives and support cross-border M&A and strategic transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex international commercial contracts.
- Provide authoritative legal advice on commercial, consumer, contractual, and regulatory matters.
- Support the digital transformation of the regional legal team and corporate workflows.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in law from an Italian law school (qualification as a lawyer is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience as an in-house counsel in multinational environments or advising corporate clients in top-tier law firms on cross-border matters.
- Strong background in contract law, commercial transactions, and complex negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with an interest in digital technologies.
