Sr Corporate Counsel

Title: Senior Corporate Counsel at HealthEquity Category: Jobs Organiser: HealthEquity, Inc. Description: HealthEquity is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to serve as a key member of its Legal Department. The primary focus of this role is to provide strategic legal advice on employment matters and manage the company's litigation portfolio. The successful candidate will support the Associate General Counsel in handling commercial and employment disputes, coordinating discovery responses, and navigating regulatory complaints such as wage/hour audits and discrimination charges. Beyond litigation management, the counsel will serve as a primary advisor to the People Team and business leaders on various employment-related issues, including hiring practices, performance management, and internal investigations. Responsibilities also include drafting workplace policies, delivering legal training, and ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This is a remote-based position that offers a competitive compensation package, including performance bonuses and equity eligibility. While the role is remote, it requires participation in an in-person onboarding experience and occasional travel to the company's headquarters for quarterly sessions. Eligibility: * Licensed to practice law in any United States jurisdiction. * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading law school with strong academic credentials. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in an employment law department at a large law firm and/or in-house legal department. * Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and OSHA. * Proficiency in Federal and applicable State Rules of Civil Procedure.
