The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and drafting complex software licenses, equipment and services agreements, and vendor contracts. This role involves ensuring compliance with financial policies and integrating negotiated terms into appropriate deal conditions. In addition to contract management, the Staff Attorney will conduct legal research and provide guidance on federal and state regulatory compliance, including HIPAA. The position acts as a strategic business partner, applying legal judgment to proposed deals and supporting internal teams in resolving customer disputes. The role also includes supporting legal operations and automation workflows to enhance departmental efficiency. Eligibility: * Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) law degree from an accredited law school in the United States. * Must be licensed to practice law in a U.S. state and be a member of a state bar. * One to three years of professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on corporate, contract, transactional, or healthcare law. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. * Familiarity with the use of AI tools and legal operations (contract management and automation) is highly desired.
