Title: Teach for India Fellowship 2026 Category: Fellowships and Scholarships Organiser: Teach for India Description: The Teach For India Fellowship is a two-year, full-time leadership program aimed at addressing educational inequity in India. Established in 2008 and inspired by the Teach For America model, the initiative places Fellows as full-time teachers in under-resourced schools. The program is designed to provide participants with invaluable teaching and leadership skills while directly impacting the lives of children in underserved communities. During the fellowship, participants become part of a movement that currently includes 900 Fellows and an alumni network of over 4,500 members. Fellows are responsible for fostering academic excellence and personal growth in their students. In addition to classroom responsibilities, the program offers professional development, access to a dedicated career fair upon completion, and a network of mentors and change agents across the country. Eligibility: * Must have completed graduation by June/July 2026. * Must be applying for the first time for the 2026 Fellowship cohort (since July 2025). * Must be a citizen of India or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
