Description: Societe Generale is seeking a Junior Lawyer for a 12-month contract as a Trainee Legal Counsel in Singapore. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to finance activities in a dynamic investment banking environment, including drafting and reviewing legal documentation for debt/note issuance, loan financing, and securitisation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to the Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) team and other departments in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Assist in transaction management for debt capital markets, third-party note issuance, loan financing, and securitisation.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators, stock exchanges, and other authorities.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and assist in updating procedures.
