Title: Various Research Positions at the Centre for WTO Studies, IIFT Category: Jobs Organiser: The Centre for WTO Studies (CWS), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Description: The Centre for WTO Studies (CWS) at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is inviting applications for 10 research positions at various levels, including Young Professionals, Associates, and Consultants. These roles are designed for professionals in the fields of Economics and Law to contribute to research and training programs related to the WTO and international trade. The Centre serves as an independent think-tank and provides critical support to the Government of India in trade negotiations, disputes, and policy formulation. Selected candidates will be engaged purely on a contractual basis, initially for a period of one year. This tenure may be extended based on a performance review and the ongoing requirements of the Centre. The roles involve high-level research activities, requiring a sound command of the English language and proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office. Eligibility: * Consultant (with/without Ph.D.): Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Public Policy, or related fields with at least 55% marks. Requires minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience (3 years in international trade). Maximum age: 50 years. * Associate: Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Public Policy, or related fields with at least 55% marks. Requires minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (1 year in international trade). Maximum age: 45 years. * Young Professional (With Experience): Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Public Policy, or related fields with at least 55% marks. Requires minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience. Maximum age: 35 years. * Young Professional (Without Experience): Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or Master’s in relevant fields from a university ranked in the top 25 (NIRF) or top 100 (QS/Times Higher Education). Maximum age: 28 years. * General Requirements: Sound knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent written and spoken English.
