Title: Recruitment for Various Research Positions at the Centre for WTO Studies, IIFT Category: Jobs Organiser: The Centre for WTO Studies (CWS), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Description: The Centre for WTO Studies (CWS) at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is inviting applications for 10 research positions at various levels, including Young Professionals, Associates, and Consultants. As an independent think-tank, the Centre conducts specialized research and training on WTO-related matters and provides critical support to the Government of India in international trade negotiations, disputes, and policy formulation. Selected candidates will be engaged in legal and economic research concerning international trade. The positions are purely contractual, initially for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and the Centre's requirements. These roles offer a significant opportunity to work at the intersection of law, economics, and global trade diplomacy. Eligibility: * Consultant (with/without PhD): Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or related field (min. 55% marks); minimum 8 years post-qualification experience (3 years in relevant field); maximum age 50 years. * Associate: Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or related field (min. 55% marks); minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (1 year in relevant field); maximum age 45 years. * Young Professional (with experience): Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or related field (min. 55% marks); minimum 1 year post-qualification experience; maximum age 35 years. * Young Professional (without experience): Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or Master’s in Economics/International Relations from a university ranked in the top 25 (NIRF) or top 100 (QS/Times Higher Education); maximum age 28 years. * General Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent command of written and spoken English.
