Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), the successful candidate will provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to manage the company’s global legal and compliance matters. The role is designed to support the organization’s continued growth by optimizing legal operations and executing enterprise risk management strategies. The Deputy General Counsel will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements with clients, vendors, and partners. Additionally, the role involves leading corporate governance initiatives and managing a diverse, high-performing legal and compliance team. The position requires a strategic partner who can translate legal risks into actionable business outcomes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Eligibility: * J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. * Active admission to a US State Bar. * Minimum of 10 years of direct legal experience, including a combination of private practice training and in-house roles. * Broad experience as a legal generalist (contracting, IP, licensing, regulatory, employment, and global compliance). * Required background in the life sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device) or adjacent manufacturing sectors. * Preferred in-house experience with Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs).
