This is a client-facing, interim position offered on a fixed-term contract basis to cover maternity leave until October 30, 2026. The role involves collaborating closely with the front office to provide legal support for a broad spectrum of derivatives, securities financing transactions, and other strategic legal initiatives within the bank's UK operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating complex legal documentation, including ISDA and GMRA agreements, master trading agreements, and collateral arrangements. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and embedding relevant UK financial regulations into product documentation and providing practical, business-focused advice directly to the trading floor. Eligibility: * Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years’ Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) gained in a law firm or financial institution. * Significant experience in negotiating ISDA and GMRA agreements and expertise in complex derivatives and securities financing documentation. * Deep understanding of legal risks relevant to financial markets and up-to-date knowledge of UK financial regulations. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders. * Ability to adhere to a hybrid working pattern, requiring at least 3 days a week in the London office. * Additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
