Description: Amazon is seeking a smart, young candidate for the role of Associate Corporate Counsel in its payments business. This is a fixed-term position for 3 years based in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will partner with cross-functional legal and business operations teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, draft and negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing privacy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing legal counsel on data privacy, technology law, company secretarial, and regulatory compliance.
• Support the development, review, and maintenance of privacy arrangements, including data sharing agreements, privacy policies, and internal SOPs.
• Monitor regulatory developments in data protection and assess their impact on the business.
• Provide privacy and data protection advice for new products, features, and business initiatives.
