Title: Call for Articles: Socio-Legal Review, NLS Bangalore
Category: Call for Papers
Organiser: National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore
Description:
The Socio-Legal Review (SLR) is an interdisciplinary journal that explores the intersection of law and society, particularly within the South Asian context. The journal seeks scholarship that moves beyond purely doctrinal analysis, welcoming research that critically examines the relationship between legal frameworks and the social sciences. SLR follows a double-anonymized editorial and peer-review process to maintain high academic standards.
Submissions are invited across four categories: Articles (5,000–10,000 words), Notes from the Field (3,000–5,000 words), Case/Legislative Comments (3,000–5,000 words), and Book Reviews (3,000–5,000 words). Additionally, the "SLR Forum" accepts shorter essays and commentaries (800–2,500 words) on contemporary developments using an interdisciplinary lens.
Eligibility:
- Open to researchers, practitioners, and legal scholars.
- Co-authorship is permitted for up to three authors for the main journal and up to two authors for the SLR Forum.
